Now that I'm two, I am all about exercising my independence. Most activities start with "Nano do it!!" This includes activities that Mom normally helps me with, like pushing me in the swing. Anything she can do I can do better - that's my attitude.
However, I have also quickly learned that inanimate objects are much easier to boss around than my parents!
