Happy Easter!

I woke up this morning to discover that the Easter Bunny had visited my house.

He brings some pretty cool loot.

After church we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Apparently, the Easter Bunny is confused as to where I live because he made a visit there too!

After I opened my basket I went on an egg hunt around the house (it was too rainy to do it outside).

Grandma helped me find the eggs (I think she's pretty tight with the Easter Bunny because she seemed to know exactly where they all were).

Officer Kenworthy

A surprise arrived in the mail for me from Nana and Poppy. Since my birthday had passed, I wasn't sure what it could be.

Hmmmm.....What could it be??

It's a police officer's uniform. Now that I have the car I need the uniform to go with it.
Watch out because Officer Nolan is patrolling the streets.

Third Birthday Party

I got to celebrate my birthday again a couple of weeks after my actual birthday. I picked out a Hot Wheels themed brithday party...not a surprise to anyone.

Hmmm....what should I wish for???

That last candle is always so darn tricky.

I decided that all of my other cars needed a turn driving around the track too.

Then it was on to present opening time! I've become pretty good at this.

Emma and Will got me a knight set. Daddy said it's to fight off Rudy.

Just when I thought I was done opening my presents, Mommy and Daddy told me I had one more surprise. Nana and Poppy got me my very own police car!

I was speechless!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Me!

Every year on my birthday, Mommy likes to look back at pictures of me from the past months and (now) years. She's always amazed by how much I've grown, and how it seems like almost no time has passed since I was born.

Here's me just a few minutes after I entered the world on April 7, 2008.

Here I am exactly one year later. Check out that awesome hair!

And as a big three year old!!

On my actual birthday Grandma brought me downtown to Mommy's office, and the three of us had lunch at the Skyline Club. They brought me my own chocolate cake with three candles.

Later that night we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate with horrible pizza and some games.

I needed some assistance with some of the games.

Then Chuck and I took a ride.

I was really good at this game, where you had to knock down ducks. Mom wasn't quite sure whether to be impressed with my hand eye coordination or disturbed by how entertaining I found knocking out baby ducks.

It was a pretty great time!

My First Basketball Game

What's one benefit of living in a town where no one cares much about the NBA team? You never have trouble finding free tickets. Tonight was one of those occasions, so Mommy and Daddy thought it would be fun to take me to my first basketball game.

Before the game we stopped by Johnny Rockets for some grub. I was more interested in playing songs on the juke box than eating the food, but it was a good time nonetheless.

Daddy failed to tell Mommy that our seats were in the nosebleed section, or "way high in the sky" as I described them. She has a closet fear of falling down steep arena stairs, so this was not a fun experience for her.

I really liked watching the game, but got bored whenever the players stopped moving.

They looked like little ants on the court.

Before we left I had to pick up a nice souvi.

Thanks for the good time Pacers! I'm sure we'll be back again (but closer to the court next time).
