Times they are a changing

Over the past several months, I've been contemplating changing the blog.  While writing things from the perspective of a baby is certainly fun, there comes a time when that baby is suddenly three and carries on a conversation like a chatty 30 year old.  Which begs the question "should you be putting words in the mouth of a child who can put his own words together now?"  In my opinion, probably not.  With the big changes that are happening in the Kenworthy family, it's a perfect opportunity to make the change on the blog.  So, from now on, I (Jessica here) will be writing the blog from my perspective.  We're also changing the blog's name...Nolan's News is now Keeping Up With the Kenworthy's.  Yes, we sunk so low as to give our blog the namesake of the Kardashian's reality TV show.  But, really, would you expect much more from us?

And, for those of you who will miss hearing from Nolan, no worries.  He's so smart that he likely has started his own blog without the knowledge of Todd and I.  And, if not, just give him a few months.  This is the same kid who purchased apps from the App Store without my knowledge and taught me how to operate my iPhone.

Fourth of July

We went downtown to the Skyline Club to watch fireworks this year. We were up high enough that we could see the fireworks all over the city.

They had a lot of activities just for little guys like me. I was particularly impressed with the balloon animals.

So were the 50 other kids that were there. But I waited in line very patiently.

I decided to go with a blue octopus.

Very pleased with my decision.

Silly Grandma! That's not a hat!

They also came around every few minutes and distributed treats to the kids at each table, as evidenced by my necklace and ring pop.

And they had a dessert buffet. Can you tell I partook in some chocolate cake?

I got a front row seat for all the action. Thanks for the fun night Grandma and Grandpa!
