Smile for the camera!

Mom is getting very frustrated with me. I spend all day smiling and giggling, and the minute she puts a camera in front of my face, this is what she gets. Now none of my loyal blog fans get to see my cuteness in all of its glory (pictures really don't do me justice). However...

Mom was able to catch a few grins last night while I was checking out our new chairs (courtesy of Nana and Poppy's hand-me-down collection).

Check out those arm cankles, or as one might call them wrarms.

Tuckered

I'm finally big enough to wear one of my Cubs outfits, so Mom was all excited to get my picture. Unfortunately, I did not share the same level of excitement.

Oh well, there's always next time.

Fish Fry

Mom, Dad, and I went to our friends Kelly and Tim's house for a cook out on Friday night. The plan was to cook the fish that Daddy and his friends caught on their fishing trip.

I had to explain to Daddy how to properly cook fish. "See Daddy, what you need to do is marinate it in milk. Everything tastes better with milk."

Daddy didn't buy it, so I decided to go hang out with Mom.

Just hanging with the guys while the fish cooks. Hey, what's that stuff in the brown bottles. Why don't I have one?

Before we ate Brian showed up and informed everyone that eating more than one fish a year from Lake Michigan is not advised. Mom decided to abstain completely (for my sake)...so much for the fish fry. Thanks Brian.

Nana needs a Nolan fix

Nana told Mom that she misses me and needs a Nolan fix, so here you go Nana...

Here is my serious baby model pose. Sears catalog here I come!

Okay, enough with the serious stuff.

Dad and I love to hang out and do guy stuff, like pose for pictures.

I need a bib pronto!

Maggie, can I help you with something? I'm trying to pose.

Making Daddy proud!

Sitting Up

Now that I'm three months old I get to use my Bebe Pod seat.

Wow, this sitting up on my own thing is pretty cool. I could get used to this...

...or not.

It's tummy time!

Now that I've turned three months old and my head to body weight ratio is a little smaller, I've started to really like this tummy time thing that Mom keeps pushing.
What makes it even cooler is this toy that my cousin Caroline lent me. It lights up, plays music, and even has a mirror that I can stare at myself in (my favorite part).

Man, I am one cute baby.

I'm 3 months old!

I turned 3 months old this week, so Mom had to get some pictures. Unfortunately I've taken to squirming a lot and sucking on my fist all of the time, so I made the job a little challenging for her, as the pictures demonstrate.

Who says I don't look like Mom? I obviously inherited her lazy eye.

This one's a little better.

Okay, now I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Dad thought that distracting me by stacking things on my head would help. Well, it didn't. Now I just think he's a bit crazy.

On the road again!

Mom, Dad, and I decided to hit the road again and head up to Chicago for the 4th of July. Their two bags are the little ones on the right. The rest is mine.

On Friday we stayed with our friends Justin and Mandy. Some of you may also know Justin (shown above) as my Godfather of Rock.

This is my new friend Mandy. She held onto me while I hung out and sucked on my hand (which I now have decided to do all day long).

I wore my patriotic gear for my first 4th of July...

Unfortunately, it got too cold, and Mom made me cover it up with a sweatshirt before we went to watch fireworks.
Daddy and his friends went on a fishing trip on Saturday morning, so Mom, Mandy, and I went shopping (for me of course). Mom picked up these cool rattle socks and bracelets. They're pretty nifty, since I still haven't gotten the hang of actually picking things up on my own.

On Saturday night, we went to see our friends Aaron and Christina (sorry, Mom forgot to take a picture), and then headed downtown to stay at a hotel. I got the bed all to myself; Mom and Dad had to sleep on the floor.

Ahhh, I could get used to this.
