Jolly Days

Mommy's company had a special night at the Children's Museum tonight for Jolly Days, where the museum was open to only employees and their families. We stopped and saw Santa first, which was not pleasant (the guy creeps me out, okay), but once that was over I was ready to go.
Here are a few pics from the evening:

Christmas Parade

On the day after Thanksgiving, the Garzolini's invited Mommy, Daddy, and I to come to their house in Brazil (so exotic) to watch the Christmas parade. I was sold when I found out they had a toy room with Thomas trains and books. Mom and Dad had to pry me away, so we could get outside to watch the parade.

Sidetracked!

Once Mommy and Daddy actually got me outside, I really enjoyed the parade.

There were all sorts of trucks and floats. The fire engines were my favorite. Wee new, wee new!

Daddy and I enjoying the sights.

Family shot! I was thrilled.

Thanksgiving Dinner

This year marked my first Thankgiving where I actually got to eat at the table and eat big boy food like everyone else.

Caroline showed me proper table manners...

...like how to bang on Nana's good china with her good silver. (Mommy warned you that was a bad idea Nana).

Let's eat everyone!

Cousin Bonding

My cousin, Caroline, was at Nana and Poppy's house for Thanksgiving too. She's almost a year and a half older than me, so I think everything she does is super cool...

...Well, everything except hanging out in the pink princess bed.

She even watched Thomas with me. Thanks for hanging out with me Caroline! Can't wait until Christmas!

Fun with cabinets

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Terre Haute to visit Nana and Poppy for Thanksgiving. Of course, every time I'm there Nana loves to get me wound up, and this time was no different. She and Poppy have an island in their kitchen with a cabinet that's just the right size for a little guy like me to crawl through.

I was having so much fun, Nana thought she'd give it a try.

And Mommy didn't want to feel left out.

Children's Museum with the Cummins

Mommy and I met up with Zander Cummins and his Mommy and Daddy today at the Childrens Museum. My Mommy and Zander's Mommy go way back. Unfortunately, Zander and I were too busy doing our own things to hang out much (which is why there is no picture with both of us). We both had fun though!

Of course, I had to stop at the train table.

Just like home, only ten times bigger.

Zander finally slowed down long enough for Mom to get a picture.

Bye-bye!

Happy Birthday Jackson

My friend Jackson celebrated the big 1-2 today. Yes, he's turning 12 months old (also referred to by some as 1 year old, but it sounds so much cooler in double digits)!!

I was a little unsure of the scene at first. This was the expression on my face for about the first 30 minutes.

However, I found some cars to play with and warmed up to the scene a bit.

See?!

There were a lot of other kids there too. Cooper and I are only about a month apart, and he's already got about three inches on me.

Jackson had a great time opening his presents.

Like my Cousin Caroline, he had an entourage of papparazzi to capture the event. (Thankfully for me, Mom's about the only person who takes pictures of me, and most of her pictures are completely out of focus.)

Jackson was unfazed by all of the photogs though.

Happy Brithday Jackson!!

Afternoon at the park

It was a beautiful, unseasonably warm day today, so Mommy and I took a wagon ride to the park in our neighborhood.

The monkey bars are still a bit high for my reach, so I'll just settle for these bars for now, whatever they are.

Mommy loves this picture, not because it's well-taken, but because the subject looks super adorable.

I'm now a pro on the playground and can climb up the stairs and go down the slides all by myself. Well, the little ones anyhow. Mommy still goes down the really big slides with me.

Wheeee! (Notice my damp pants? Mommy and I ended up mopping up all of the water on the slides with our behinds.)
Hiiieeeee!!! (That's likely what I was saying when this picture was taken.)

Photo Shoot?

Soooooo, the subject of this post may be a bit misleading. My cousins, Max and Katie, were in town this weekend from Portland, and Aunt Steph (their mommy) was going to take pictures of the three of us. However, I decided to single-handedly ruin it by refusing to cooperate.

The three of us did sit still for a few moments, but then we were distractacted. From our expressions you might assume that we were witnessing a puppy running through moving traffic or, even worse, Thomas getting bathed in coal dust right before the big train show. But no, Grandma ran inside for a second without us.

Max was happy for the intermission....more time for snacks.

Grandma re-appeared with lollipops for the three of us. I, of course, was completely freaked out by them (along with all other foods) and decided not to participate, but Max and Katie were happy to pose for the pictures.

And eat them of course!

I chose to watch from the sidelines.

After the unsuccessful photo shoot, Max and I had time to compare trains. His Thomas talked out loud. Mine just stares at me.

Then we all watched the puppies (aka, 200 lb dogs) play in the back yard. Oh well, maybe I'll decided to cooperate next year.
