Christmas Morning

I woke up Christmas morning to discover that Santa had made a visit. The cookies must have worked! He brought me everything I asked for, including new little cars and a BIG fire truck.

After I scoped out all of Santa's gifts, I opened my stocking (or Christmas sock, if you're weird like Daddy).

The presents didn't stop there....I still had gifts from Mommy, Daddy, and other family to open. My cousin, Caroline, was so nice to send me this McDonald's drive thru. Mom was thrilled that Aunt Katie decided to bless us with the same lovely toy that she had blessed Caroline with a few years ago.
After all of the gift opening it was time for the good part: playing with all of my new toys!
Am I my mommy's child or what?!
All in all, I had a great Christmas!

Ready for Santa

Christmas with Nana and Poppy

Nanny, Poppy, and Mimi came over on Christmas Eve to celebrate with me because they were headed to TN to see my cousin, Caroline.

It was another celebration that consisted of watching me open oodles of presents. Poppy didn't seem to mind.
By this time, I was a pro at unwrapping.
Nana got me several dress up outfits this year, since I love to play pretend.

Can you guess which one was my favorite?

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa are going to Portland to visit my cousins, Katie and Max, this Christmas, so they came over to celebrate Christmas early.
And by "celebrate Christmas early" I mean "watch me open oodles of presents."

My gift unwrapping skills have greatly improved over last year.

My favorite present was my Dance Star Mickey. I've been dancing with him to get all ready for Disney World in a few weeks!

Visit with Santa

Mommy and I went to the mall to visit the big guy in the red suit today. I was SO excited on the way there, I could hardly contain myself. However, my shyness kicked in a bit when I actually got to meet him. I did manage to tell him the most important thing though: "I want new little cars and a fire truck."
I know my excitement isn't very apparent in this picture; however, Mommy told me that she would have been a bit hesitant too if she were sitting on the lap of a man with teeth like that.

Eiteljorg Museum

After finally getting over the stomach flu last week, Mommy and I were able to get out of the house and go to the Eiteljorg Museum to see the holiday train exhibit.

It was pretty cool. They had replicas of a bunch of national landmarks and monuments all made by hand. I was most impressed with all of the trains though.

After the trains, we went to the play area to "horse around." Pun intended.

I earned my keep by working at the merchant's store. Who wants a cucumber?

I told Mommy we needed one of these in our yard. She told me, "Good luck with that."

Thanksgiving 2010

We went to the Haute this year for Thanksgiving and had a nice relaxing long weekend doing a whole lot of nothing. Here's a little bit of what happened...
Daddy ate, err carved, the roast.
"A piece for the plate, a piece for me."
Caroline and I put on several shows. The hearth makes a great stage in case you're wondering.

Daddy and I did some cooking. Stainless steel appliances are so 2009. Cardboard is what's in.

We ate a big meal that Nana says took two days to make. However, it only took us 15 minutes to eat it.

We played with cars and trains.

And we just sat around looking cute!

Big Boy Bed

Guess who's sleeping in a big boy bed now?! Yep, this guy!
I'm all about the big boy bed. The big boy potty, on the other hand, can wait for several years if you ask me.

Disney Live!

Mommy and Daddy took me to see Disney Live today. At first I was confused because I thought that meant we were going to Mickey's house, but I got into it once we were there.
I was ready for the show to start.

Finally! I had a great time. Mom and Dad know this because I didn't blink the entire two hours.

Happy Halloween!

After several practice runs (school, Great Wolf Lodge, etc), I was ready for the real trick-or-treating deal. We started out the evening at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Grandma had cars for me, so I was extra excited.

After Grandma and Grandpa's, Mom and I headed home for some more trick-or-treating.

I was ready to come inside once it started to get really cold, but I still came away with some pretty good loot.

Pumpkin Carving

After the IU game, Mommy, Daddy and I decided to carve our pumkpins that we got last weekend. I waited patiently while Daddy did the carving.

Then I got to scooping the guts out.

I started to draw the design on my pumpkin, but thought that drawing on Daddy was more fun.

The finished product!

Oh, and here are the pumpkins.

My First IU Game

Mom and Dad took me to my first IU football game today.
While the Hoosiers aren't setting any records these days, they're much improved from when Mommy and Daddy were in school. Maybe they'll have a winning record by the time I'm in college.I even got my first IU sweatshirt. Aren't I cute?!

As usual, I wasn't as thrilled about taking my pic with Mommy. Unfortunately IU lost by a few points, but it was a good time! Can't wait for my first basketball game!

Pumpkin Patch

On the way home from the Great Wolf Lodge we stopped at Waterman's Farm to pick up our pumpkins this year. We also checked out a few of the other activities, like the petting zoo.

Oops!

The petting zoo was fun, but I was ready to get down to business and go pick out some pumpkins. So I made a bee line for the tractors.

(Please ignore the crazy colors. Mom decided to shoot pictures in RAW and play around with Photoshop. This one was her attempt at the Lomo style)

On the way to the pumpkins.

I had to check out every pumpkin to make sure I found the perfect one. This one was perfect for Daddy.

After checking out about 400 pumpkins, I finally found mine.
On the way back, Cowboy Bob drove my tractor. Dad was impressed. I was not.
Before we left, we checked out the pumpkin eating monster. I now run around my house screaming, "I'm a monster and I love to eat pumpkins!!"
