Fall Festiball

Nolan's school had their annual Fall Festival (or festi"ball" according to Nolan) on Saturday. It wasn't much to write home about, but it also doesn't take much to impress a three year old. Nolan had a good time with all of his friends, and even came home with a prize from one of the games that he was crazy about - a water bottle (again, it doesn't take much to impress a three year old).

Two Months Old!

The girls turned two months old this week.  Time has seemed to fly by, but I'm enjoying every minute with them.  We had their two month check up, and both girls are weighing in at the 10 lb mark, which puts them above the 25 percentile (unadjusted).  Ava is 22 inches long (~ 40th percentile), and Grace is 21 3/4 inches (25th percentile).  Both girls have started smiling and cooing, which makes interacting with them fun!

My twinkies are so advanced...sitting up on their own already! They must take after their mother.

Nolan's First Field Trip

Nolan had his first field trip on Friday with his preschool class. They are currently doing a unit on nature, so they went to Holiday Park. I can't believe he's old enough already to have field trips. It seems like I just brought him home from the hospital. They say that the older you get the faster time goes by, but I really think they should say "the more kids you have, the faster time seems to pass." Thankfully I was able to chaperone, since my mom was nice enough to watch the twins for a few hours.
