New Wagon

Mommy and Daddy were planning on getting me a wagon for Christmas, but Mom thought it would be nice to get some use out of it before the weather turns cold. So, I lucked out and got it a few weeks early.

I feel super cool riding in the wagon. Strollers are so six months ago.

It's Fall!

Mommy and Daddy performed the annual leaf raking of our yard while I was napping this afternoon. Thankfully, I woke up just in time to participate in the tail end of the work.

Okay guys, I'm ready to work!

Daddy thought it might be a safer idea for me to use my hands to pick up the leaves.

Trick or Treat

Since I'm a big boy now, I got to go out with the rest of the big kids trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Mom and I practiced saying "trick or treat" all day, but I got nervous when I actually got to the doors. That's okay, though, because I had fun anyway.

My last stop was my own house, where Daddy was handing out candy. For some reason I knew exactly what was going on as soon as Mom got out my costume. Mom and Dad couldn't quite figure out how I knew about trick or treating, but they guess it must have been at school.

Checking out some of my goodies. I'm not allowed to eat the chocolate, but the gummy bears are good enough for me.

Afternoon at the Park

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the state park near our house for the Halloween celebration yesterday afternoon, but the "celebration" turned out to be a card table with candy and Gator pulling kids on hay rides. So, instead we decided to just go to one of the playgrounds in the park.

Where trouble can I get into next?

Pumpkin Carving

Mommy, Daddy, and I carved the pumpkins that we got at the pumpkin patch this week. I was a much more active participant in the process this year.

Last year I just supervised.

Daddy is very serious about his pumpkin carving.

I quickly got over my aversion to slimy messiness and dug right in.

Here's Daddy's completed jack-o-latern. He does such a good job.

Mom gets an A for effort.

I had to put my pumpkin that I decorated at school with the rest of our pumpkin family.

So cute. Unfortunately, the squirrels have already chewed off the face of Mommy's pumpkin, like they do every year. But it was a cute family while it lasted.

Weenew, weenew, weenew...

Mommy and Daddy went on a mini-vacation to celebrate their five year anniversary, so I got to spend four whole days with Nana and Poppy.

While I was there Poppy took me on a "guys trip" (i.e. no Nana's allowed) to the fire station, so I could see the fire trucks.
(I know this picture doesn't quite illustrate Poppy's or my enthusiam, but it was the only one we got of the two of us. I promise, I was excited.)

Mommy Ran a Marathon!

After years of saying she'd never do it, Mommy finally caved and ran a full marathon today. That's right people, the woman has completely lost her marbles and voluntarily ran 26.2 miles without stopping. While I have no concept of how far a mile really is at this point, twenty six of anything is a lot to me.

Here we are just after the race looking lovely and bald in our hats, since it was a toasty 35 degrees out.
